On a whim, we decided to stop by Sala today and celebrate the 4th of July Mexican style. Or was it just the promise of Margaritas? Must say our experience was excellent and Jack, our server, was knowledgeable and truly seemed to enjoy Willow.
A table over, Willow made friends with Sydney, a three-year old with a glorious set of curly, blond hair, two dolls and a love of babies. Funny enough, Sydney attends Willow's day care, but it took for them to get to Sala to actually meet.
With a new chef and the same great atmosphere, Sala was a hit with us. And the generous Margaritas surely didn't hurt! Jack made some good recommendations for Tequila (they no longer carry Chinaco, but we tried Corazon and Del Senor) and were not disappointed.
We called ahead to enquire about high chairs, which they have available, and while there noticed there was a good mix of young families with kids of assorted ages in the main dining room and patio area.
This was a holiday weekday in the middle of summer. We'll go back on a weekend.
